8 Months Old-Late! and the "No" video!

I just realized that I forgot to post Briley's 8 month pictures. I thought I better do that before she turns 9 months old in a few days!!

Isn't she a cutie?!?

She's already a climber! Watch out!

Check out these chubby legs!
I can't leave out my handsome boy who is looking so grown-up these days!
He has the goofiest grin sometimes!
Now for the cutest thing ever.... Briley shakes her head "no". She is definitely in her "no" phase early! The other day while I was holding her, Britt asked me a question and I said, "I don't know". She heard the "know" and shook her head "no"! She's a mess!

Briley's new tricks!

Between the ages of 7 and 8 months, Briley learned to clap, wave, play peek-a-boo (with a burp cloth), crawl, and pull-up! It was a busy month.
Since she turned 8 months old, she has started shaking her head "no", and cruising on the furniture a little bit. I predict she'll be walking before she's 10 months old! It's obviously time to retire the swing!!

She's on the go!
Holding on with one hand!

Brother is very nice to share his toys!

December 2009

The long-awaited Christmas blog is here. I really should try to stay on top of this better! Here are some cute pictures of us during the Christmas season:

Maddox REALLY enjoyed helping me wrap presents this year.
He still loves that bunny!

I think I had to promise Maddox candy to pose for this picture!

We got to spend some time with Ginger, Averie, and Andrew. Averie is a year older than Briley, but they are about the same size. Too funny!

Andrew LOVED Briley. He was very gentle with her, too.

We opened presents at Mimi and Pop's the Saturday before Christmas.
A BIG hug for Pop!

Briley got her first real baby doll from Mimi and Pop. An American Girl. "Bitty Baby". She loved it!
Briley had fun climbing on the boxes and grabbing the paper and ribbons!

We were so happy to spend time with Mom before and after Christmas!

Maddox was so excited about Christmas this year. He was at a really fun age. His elf, "Joey-Markel" kept an eye on him and reported to Santa Claus every night.

The only thing he asked Santa for was a camera.
Santa knew he would love this car garage!
Santa also set up a train around the Christmas tree for him.

Both kids are enjoying the ball pit. And I'm wondering why Santa thought I would enjoy picking up 150 balls from every room in the house, every day!

Bae, Grandad, Katie, and Jeremy joined us for brunch Christmas morning. We had a fun time!
We flew up to Florence on Christmas afternoon.
Both kids did great in the plane.
Maddox has been playing airplanes every day since we got back. He said "Daddy, what's that cool thing you say before you start the engine?" "Clear prop"!

We had a good visit with Grandmother and GrandDoc.
Four generations of girls!

We had a great time at Aunt Deana's. Good food, lots of kids, and lots of presents!!

Maddox and Lorelei were pouting together. Three-year-olds are really good at that!
