Halloween 2010

My little ladybug really got into the Trick-or-treating this year. She also LOVES her some candy!
We trick-or-treated around Mimi and Pops neighborhood Saturday night with our friends from church. What do ya know... Mario ran into Luigi!
Maddox and Ryan had an absolute BLAST!
My pictures are all out of order, but anyway... Our first stop was to Bae and Grandad's house. Maddox likes to block himself with his hand when he doesn't want his picture taken. We have a lot of recent pictures of him with his hand up!

This is a rare shot. They are both looking at the camera and sort of smiling!
I love this picture of my ladybug with sticky-up hair and crooked wings! Precious!

The clown make-up looked great for about 30 minutes.... It ended up everywhere except on his face. He's a 4-year-old clown. What can we expect?!? I hope it came out of your carpet, Bae. Sorry!

I thought we got some decent shots at our year trip to the pumpkin patch.
Maddox was being incredibly cooperative!

Briley was just ready to go home and eat dinner. The girl gets fussy when she's hungry. Wonder where she got that from?!?

My handsome, posing boy!

This is Maddox trying to get Briley to cooperate with the pictures!
Thank you to Ms. Cathy for making them these precious matching outfits! I LOVE to dress them in matching outfits!
I can't believe we will have another child in these pictures next year!!

Soccer Surprise

Maddox was upset when I told him that I had signed him up for soccer. He was nervous and just didn't know what to expect. He surprised me at the first (and only) practice, by getting out there with no problem. He's playing on the Y's Tiny Tots league. We had the one practice at the beginning of the season, then we play 6 games on Friday nights. No keeping score, no goalies, not much structure at all-just a bunch of 3, 4, and 5 year olds chasing a soccer ball! Fun!Well, at the first game, Maddox stayed on the field for about 3 minutes and was done. The team we were playing seemed bigger, older, and better than us. Basically, they had a clue what they were doing and we didn't. Maddox said he didn't like them!Britt asked me how much we paid for this. I was really worried about suffering through the next 6 weeks.Well..... Bae and Grandad took him to his next game because Britt and I were at the UA vs. South Carolina football game. We talked to them after the game and found out that Maddox made two goals and was all over the field! He was like a totally different kid!Since then, he has been the second best player on the team. He is doing great and really seems to love it! It has been well worth the 75 bucks!

Labor Day Beach Trip

To avoid the oil, we went to Panama City Beach and stayed at a place called "Splash". It has an awesome water playground for kids that I thought the kids would absolutely LOVE! Well, I was wrong. It had a huge bucket that fills up with water and dumps out every couple of minutes. Maddox took one look at that and was done. I did get him to go down the waterslide once with me. Briley went down once with me, too.

Maddox may be a great golfer one day. He loves it! He could not wait to go play mini-golf. So, we went twice!

When he's in the mood, he can be a cute little model!
Briley is always photogenic, I think.

So, they didn't like the waterpark, but they loved the beach and the lazy river pool.

Maddox got a hole in one!!!

What a nice way to end the summer!
