Briley caught a cold for her 4 month birthday. Poor girl! Her nose has been so stuffy. It's tough to be a thumb-sucker with a congested nose. She has been a trooper and has only had one bad night.
Speaking of nights, she is now consistently sleeping ALL NIGHT! Maddox didn't do this until he was 9 months old, and we had to endure many horrible nights of letting him "cry it out". Briley is a much better sleeper. I think finding her thumb really helped. Sometimes I lie her down awake, and sometimes I nurse her to sleep. Most days she actually takes a couple of 2-3 hour naps! She is just such a good baby!
She smiles all the time now and has started to be more vocal. I can already tell she LOVES her brother! Whenever she hears him, she turns her head and strains her neck to find him. Sometimes she doesn't even want to nurse when he's playing in the same room. She just wants to watch him!
